Enable JavaScript

To use the Making College Financial Planning Count E-Learning, you must have JavaScript enabled on your computer.

Follow the instructions below on how to turn JavaScript on your browser.

Microsoft Internet Explorer | Netscape | AOL | Firefox | Safari | Opera

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x

  1. On the menu bar click on "Tools" then "Internet Options."

  2. From Internet Options, select the "Security" tab.

  3. Click Custom Level.

  4. Scroll down to "Scripting," make sure "Active Scripting" is set to Enable.

  5. Click "OK."

  6. Click "Yes" or "OK" when asked, "Are sure you wish to change the security settings for this zone."

  7. Click "OK" on the Internet Properties window.

  8. Close all open Internet Explorer windows and then re-launch Internet Explorer.

  9. Complete the process by clicking here

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x

  1. On the menu bar click on "Tools" then "Internet Options."

  2. Click on the "Security" tab.

  3. Click "Custom Level" button.

  4. Scroll down to "Scripting," section.

  5. Set "Active Scripting" to "Enable."

  6. Click "OK" on the Internet Properties window.

  7. Close all open Internet Explorer windows and then re-launch Internet Explorer.

  1. On the menu bar click on "View" then "Internet Options."

  2. Click on the "Advanced" tab.

  3. Scroll down to "Scripting," section.

  4. Set "Active Scripting" to "Enable."

  5. Click "OK."

  6. Click "Yes" or "OK"

  7. Click "OK" on the Internet Properties window.

  8. Close all open Internet Explorer windows and then re-launch Internet Explorer.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.X for Mac OS X

  1. Select Preferences from the Explorer menu.

  2. Click the arrow next to Web Browser.

  3. Click Web Content.

  4. Under Active Content check Enable Scripting.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click Refresh.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 for Mac OS 9

  1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.

  2. Click the arrow next to Web Browser.

  3. Click Web Content.

  4. Under Active Content check Enable Scripting.

  5. Click OK.

  3. Click Languages.

  4. Check both Enable Java and Enable JavaScript.

  3. Click Advanced.

  4. Check both Enable Java and Enable JavaScript

  1. Open Netscape.

  2. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.

  4. Check both Enable Java and Enable JavaScript

  1. Open Netscape.

  2. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.

  3. Click Advanced

  4. Check both Enable Java and Enable JavaScript for Navigator

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click Reload.

Netscape 7.X

  1. Open Netscape.

  2. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.

  3. Click the arrow next to Advanced.

  4. Click Scripts & Plugins.

  5. Check Navigator beneath "Enable Javascript for".

  6. Click OK.

  7. Click Reload.

  1. Select "Settings".

  2. Select "Preferences".

  3. Select "Internet Properties".

  4. Select "Custom Level".

  5. Scroll down the Custom Level screen to "Scripting".

  6. Enable "Active Scripting".

  7. Select "Okay".

  8. Select "Yes" that you want to change the security settings.

  9. Select "Okay".

  10. Close the Preference window.

  11. Close this window and Click the Reload button in the browser's row of icons.
